ASSISTANT LIFT SPECIALIST SERVICE MAINTENANCE DIVISION
Location: Entire Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Schedule: 5-Day Week
Salary: $2,750 per month
JOB OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for an Assistant Lift Specialist to join our Service Maintenance Division in Singapore. This role is suitable for individuals who are interested in technical maintenance, lift systems, equipment servicing, troubleshooting, and field support.
As an Assistant Lift Specialist, you will work closely with the service and maintenance team to support the smooth operation and proper maintenance of installed lift equipment and systems. You will assist with scheduled maintenance activities, technical inspections, troubleshooting, breakdown response, and other service-related duties.
The position provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in lift maintenance and develop technical knowledge through hands-on work and collaboration with experienced service personnel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the service team in carrying out ongoing and outstanding maintenance activities.
- Assist with routine maintenance, servicing, inspection, and technical checks on installed lift equipment and systems.
- Perform a variety of maintenance and technical support tasks according to assigned work schedules.
- Assist technicians and service specialists during maintenance, repair, testing, and inspection activities.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and assist in diagnosing technical malfunctions.
- Support the team in identifying the causes of equipment faults and carrying out appropriate corrective actions.
- Attend to lift call-backs, breakdowns, and emergency service duties when required.
- Assist with the restoration of equipment after breakdowns or technical issues.
- Follow company maintenance procedures, workplace safety regulations, and technical guidelines at all times.
- Report equipment abnormalities, defects, and maintenance issues to the relevant service personnel.
- Maintain proper records and documentation related to maintenance and service activities.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained and kept in safe working condition.
- Work closely with team members to ensure maintenance assignments are completed efficiently and safely.
- Perform other duties related to lift servicing and maintenance as assigned by the supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates with an interest in technical maintenance, mechanical systems, electrical systems, lift systems, or engineering are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in lift maintenance, escalator servicing, electrical work, mechanical maintenance, building maintenance, or a related technical field will be an advantage.
- Candidates with relevant technical qualifications or hands-on experience may be considered.
- Able to perform hands-on technical and maintenance duties.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are preferred.
- Willing to learn new technical procedures and equipment systems.
- Able to follow safety procedures and work instructions carefully.
- Responsible, disciplined, and able to work well with a service team.
- Physically fit and comfortable with field-based maintenance work.
- Willing to attend to breakdowns, call-backs, and emergency duties when required.
WORKING ARRANGEMENT
This is a Full-Time position with a 5-day work week. Employees will be required to support regular maintenance operations as well as attend to service requests, equipment breakdowns, and emergency duties when necessary.
The role involves practical and hands-on work, making it suitable for candidates who prefer a technical working environment and are interested in developing a career in lift service and maintenance.
